Once again, Hot Toys has made a figure that looks better than its live action counterpart. The first time they had success in that area was their DX Dark Knight Batman figure (The cowl looks a little big in the movie but it’s just right on the figure).
Now they’ve seem to make the new Captain America costume work. The biggest gripe with the new Cap suit is the helmet doesn’t look right. I contribute it to the neck piece looking a little fatty, along with the helmet looking a bit bulky (just a bit).
Well the Hot Toys Captain America solves both problems and the rest of the figure looks great as well. This figure (including the suit) is definitely better than Cap: First Avenger suit. We can only hope the movie Cap in the Avengers will look just as good as this figure at some point in the film.
Ok, so now we have Nick Fury, Hawkeye, and now Captain America. Now we need Black Widow, Thor, Iron Man…. and the HULK! I hope you got the space.
