Now this is a familiar, yet interesting premise. In Wreck-It Ralph you play as Fix-It Felix and its your job to fix whatever Wreck-It Ralph… wrecks. You play the game, you waste your quarters, you’re entertained and all is well… Except for Wreck-It Ralph.
In the game world, it is Ralph’s job to wreck stuff but he has always wanted to be loved like Fix-it Felix. In other words just because it’s your job to play the bad guy, doesn’t mean that you’re an actual bad guy. So what does Ralph do? He leaves his job and game hops in search of heroism greatness.
Disney’s Wreck-it Ralph shows all the iconic influences of the 80s and 90s era. Hell, actual video game bad guys from our favorite arcade and console games actually make an appearance!
That’s enough for me to throw up a bunch of quarters for a ticket to this movie.
